It would also be beautiful displayed on a plate wall or layered into a collection of English transferware. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe reverse bears the oval \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCOPELAND \/ SPODE’S ITALIAN \/ ENGLAND\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e backstamp, a mark used from approximately \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e1891–1970\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e. It bears an impressed COPELAND over the crown mark which was used from 1869-1970, but no impressed date code.
