An elaborate molded and scalloped rim features raised foliate and scroll decoration accented with beautifully aged gilt highlights, giving the plate wonderful texture and Victorian-era character.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe reverse bears a blurred blue English heraldic maker’s mark, appearing to feature a crown, central lion or crest, and banner beneath. The mark also indicates England and appears consistent with pottery produced in the Stoke-on-Trent region around the turn of the century.
