Sculptural shell and sea-inspired details give the monochromatic design wonderful depth and texture, while a delicate beaded border finishes the rim. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFounded along the Loire River in 1821, Gien has been producing distinctive French faience for more than two centuries. This wonderfully sculptural form dates to approximately the 1960s and bears the Gien France mark on the reverse. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBeautiful for serving oysters and seafood, these plates are equally striking displayed in a plate wall, cabinet or kitchen.
