Stamped on the back "JOHN MORTLOCK OXFORD ST LONDON" inside a globe with a flag above with 1746 and "registered trade mark 1884" below along with an impressed "WEDGWOOD" and three letters ending with an "M" and a number that's illegible due to crazing. The "M" dates these plates to 1884, making them 141 years old. The pair are in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks, but show lots of character from crazing, some staining and wear consistent with age. These are perfect for the collector who appreciates age-related imperfections and will display beautifully in a plate wall, plate rack or cabinet.

Measure 10" in diameter

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/8038/8303/files/08988B97-C682-4B5A-8077-0500D630F8A6.jpg?v=1759450725
https://www.shoplilliangrey.com/it/products/late-19th-century-wedgwood-lag-and-feather-brown-transferware-plates-pair-made-in-england-10
