Graceful floral sprays, scrolling vines, and petite blossoms adorn the circular base and shapely stem, while coordinating decoration embellishes the removable bobeche, or traditional wax-catching collar. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFounded in Paris in 1830, Christofle became internationally celebrated for its exceptional silverware, innovative silver-plating techniques, and enduring commitment to craftsmanship. This candlestick bears historic Christofle maker’s marks, including the distinctive CC balance-scale emblem associated with the company’s silver-plated wares. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eStanding nearly 10 inches tall, its graceful silhouette and beautifully detailed surface make an elegant statement displayed alone on a mantel, buffet, or dining table. Equally lovely incorporated into a thoughtfully collected arrangement of antique silver candlesticks in varying heights and styles, it brings a touch of French sophistication to both everyday interiors and special occasions. Excellent antique condition overall, with minor surface wear consistent with age and use. There is a very slight bend along the outer edge of the removable bobeche, barely noticeable and not detracting from its beauty or functionality.
