Marked on the bottom in red \" D. Vion 45 rue de paradis Paris\" indicating this piece was made by Theodore Desire Vion* and dating it to the mid-18th century somewhere between1845-1875. This piece is a RARE find in amazing condition for being 150-180 years old with very little signs of wear; no cracks or crazing and only one tiny chip to the lid edge on one side. This piece of French history will look stunning on display in a china cabinet or front and center on a buffet or sideboard.
