The contrast between the elaborate floral ornamentation and polished silver finish creates a striking presentation, reminiscent of the decorative silver found on beautifully appointed tables of generations past. Designed to cradle a bottle of wine or champagne while protecting the tabletop, this lovely coaster is equally suited to an elegant dinner party, holiday gathering, or intimate evening at home. When not in use, its sculptural design makes a beautiful decorative accent on a bar cart, buffet, or dining room sideboard. The original red-and-silver Lunt Eloquence label remains affixed to the underside, identifying this piece as American-made Lunt silverplate. Excellent vintage condition overall, with a beautifully preserved silver-plated finish, crisp floral detailing, and light surface scratches consistent with age and use. The original cork insert is no longer present, leaving the attractive silver-plated interior exposed. No significant damage is apparent.

Details

Maker: Lunt Silversmiths, USA

Pattern: Eloquence, No. A-210

Period: Vintage, likely late 20th century

Material: Silverplate

Dimensions: 5¾” diameter at top × 1¾” high × 4¼” diameter at base

Weight: Approximately 312 grams

Markings: Original Lunt Eloquence Silverplate label, Made in U.S.A.

A charming marriage of beauty and function, this timeless Lunt coaster brings a touch of old-world elegance to the modern table and makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who appreciates fine vintage silver and the pleasures of entertaining.

Part of our thoughtfully curated Silver & Crystal Collection, celebrating the timeless beauty, craftsmanship, and art of gracious entertaining.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/8038/8303/files/B2059CA5-50D1-412B-BA36-BFD2F4047B53.jpg?v=1792712097
https://www.shoplilliangrey.com/products/vintage-lunt-eloquence-silver-plated-wine-bottle-coaster-ornate-floral-pierced-design-copy
