Antique “Pastoral” Transferware Plate by George Jones England

Rare & stunning antique “Pastoral” plate by George Jones of England. This lovely earthenware plate was made sometime between 1891 & 1920. The transferware color is a beautiful shade of gray blue. The pattern features a peaceful pastoral scene with sheep and a castle in the background. The edge of the plate has sweet little scenes with groups of sheep, scrollwork & flowers. This plate is a treasure to be displayed & admired for years to come!

Good antique condition with no chips or cracks. There is clean crazing in the glaze. Some light staining & ink bleed on the back.
