Beautiful antique Vieux Paris Porcelaine lidded round tureen with hand painted details made in Paris, France circa mid-1800's. White ground pedestal tureen and lid with hand painted deep fuschia pink lines on the handles and along the base of the lid and tureen with exquisite hand painted floral and bird details including raised bead like embellishments. Marked on the bottom in red " D. Vion 45 rue de paradis Paris" indicating this piece was made by Theodore Desire Vion* and dating it to the mid-18th century somewhere between1845-1875. This piece is a RARE find in amazing condition for being 150-180 years old with very little signs of wear; no cracks or crazing and only one tiny chip to the lid edge on one side. This piece of French history will look stunning on display in a china cabinet or front and center on a buffet or sideboard. Its of course still in usable condition as well.
*Founded in 1845, Charles Baury was a modeller at Gille Jeune and together with Theodore Desire Vion acquired the firm on the rue Paradis, later moving production to Choisy-le-roi in 1875. Their work was so admired that they were named official supplier to Napolean III's Empress Eugenie, winning many awards and being named the best porcelain decorators in Paris by 1855.

We have a 7-day return policy on NEW items, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. You will be refunded in store credit to be spent at Shoplilliangrey.com within 6 months.
Vintage and antique items cannot be refunded or returned unless it has been damaged in the shipping process. We require photos of the item(s) and packaging, (which will help us to assess the handling process and prevent further losses.) After which point you will be issued a full refund on your order.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Within 10 days of delivery - Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
This includes Vintage and Antique items. Each item has its own unique story, if you are not happy with the item then we hope we can continue your story with our company and find something that suits you better. That item is now yours, we can only refund you in store credit for Shoplilliangrey.com if the item was damaged in the shipping process. (Some items have endured some alterations to their original state and will be sold AS IS. Please take note of each item's description to see if the unique character is suitable to you.)
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. You have 7 days from the delivery date to initiate your return on NEW items only.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded in store credit once approved.
