Antique Davenport Longport Imari Coffee Service | 10-Piece Set with Large Tray | c.1870–1887
A remarkable antique Davenport Longport coffee service in a richly decorated Victorian Imari pattern, complete with its large matching handled serving tray.
Dating to the late 19th century, this exceptional English porcelain service features deep cobalt blue, warm iron-red and orange floral decoration, crisp white reserves, and extensive hand-applied gilt detailing throughout. The combination of bold geometric borders, floral motifs, and lavish gilding gives the service the unmistakable opulence of Victorian Staffordshire Imari.
The set is marked Davenport, Longport, Staffordshire and remains in unusually fine condition, with exceptionally strong gilding throughout.
The 10-piece service includes:

• 1 covered sugar bowl
• 1 large handled serving tray

Excellent antique condition. The porcelain is exceptionally well preserved, and the gilding remains remarkably strong for its age. Most pieces retain approximately 10/10 gilt, with only very minor wear noted primarily to select handles and finials. Overall gold retention is approximately 9/10 or better throughout the service. Please review photographs closely for individual condition.
The large matching tray makes this service especially impressive and allows the entire set to be displayed together as originally intended.

We have a 7-day return policy on NEW items, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. You will be refunded in store credit to be spent at Shoplilliangrey.com within 6 months.
Vintage and antique items cannot be refunded or returned unless it has been damaged in the shipping process. We require photos of the item(s) and packaging, (which will help us to assess the handling process and prevent further losses.) After which point you will be issued a full refund on your order.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Within 10 days of delivery - Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items

Each item has its own unique story, if you are not happy with the item then we hope we can continue your story with our company and find something that suits you better. That item is now yours, we can only refund you in store credit for Shoplilliangrey.com if the item was damaged in the shipping process. (Some items have endured some alterations to their original state and will be sold AS IS. Please take note of each item's description to see if the unique character is suitable to you.)
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. You have 7 days from the delivery date to initiate your return on NEW items only.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded in store credit once approved.
