A striking example of late Victorian English transferware, this antique Wedgwood “Turkey” plate dates to the circa 1890s and features a richly detailed game bird motif in deep cobalt blue.

Produced in Wedgwood’s celebrated Royal Semi-Porcelain, this ironstone plate showcases a beautifully scalloped rim with intricate floral detailing, framing the central turkey scene—long associated with English sporting and harvest table wares.

Marked on the reverse “Wedgwood & Co. Ltd – England – Clytie”, this piece is a wonderful addition to any blue-and-white collection and displays beautifully on a wall, in a hutch, or as part of a seasonal tablescape.
