Antique Rosenthal Continental Versailles “Portrait from Rembrandt” Porcelain Bowl, Germany c. 1905 – 5.5”

A charming antique German porcelain portrait bowl by Rosenthal Continental in the “Versailles” line, dating to the early 20th century.

The center features a cobalt-blue portrait after Rembrandt, surrounded by delicate gilt scrollwork and a soft powder-blue ground. The gently scalloped rim is accented with deeper cobalt blue and hand-applied gilt detailing, giving this diminutive bowl a particularly elegant presentation.

The reverse is marked Versailles, Germany and inscribed “Portrait from Rembrandt.”

Perfect as a small bonbon dish, nut bowl, vanity dish, or decorative cabinet piece.
