A hand-painted exotic bird takes the front of this porcelain pitcher, set in a gilt-scrolled reserve and worked up in coral, rose, and black — fanciful coloring rather than any real species. Cobalt blue sweeps the upper body and stops at a clean gilt line over white below. The handle is the detail not to miss: a winged griffin perched at the top, picked out in gold, its scrolled body forming the grip.
It’s Old Paris porcelain — the hand-decorated ware that came out of the Paris workshops through the middle of the century, almost always sold without a mark. That’s exactly why a piece like this feels like a find: there’s no backstamp, no catalogue number, no identical second one waiting on a shelf somewhere. Just one painter’s bird, on one cobalt ground, surviving a century and a half intact. The unusual over the ordinary.

We have a 7-day return policy on NEW items, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. You will be refunded in store credit to be spent at Shoplilliangrey.com within 6 months.
Vintage and antique items cannot be refunded or returned unless it has been damaged in the shipping process. We require photos of the item(s) and packaging, (which will help us to assess the handling process and prevent further losses.) After which point you will be issued a full refund on your order.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Within 10 days of delivery - Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items

That item is now yours, we can only refund you in store credit for Shoplilliangrey.com if the item was damaged in the shipping process. (Some items have endured some alterations to their original state and will be sold AS IS. Please take note of each item's description to see if the unique character is suitable to you.)
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. You have 7 days from the delivery date to initiate your return on NEW items only.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded in store credit once approved.
