This one has everything. An exceptional late 19th-century Doulton Burslem covered biscuit jar, pattern A4797, with rich cobalt-blue floral decoration sweeping across a wonderfully unusual spirally fluted and faceted form. Softly sponged gilt washes the shoulders, collar and lid, while fine gilded edges and the petite gilt-tipped finial finish the piece beautifully. Even the lid follows the architecture of the body—a detail that makes the entire form feel particularly special.
The underside carries the Doulton Burslem England backstamp, pattern number and impressed factory markings, dating the piece to approximately 1891–1902. Complete with its original fitted lid and remarkably preserved, this is the kind of Doulton that crosses over beautifully between serious English pottery collecting and decorating—a spectacular piece tucked into a blue-and-white collection or given a place all its own.

We have a 7-day return policy on NEW items, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. You will be refunded in store credit to be spent at Shoplilliangrey.com within 6 months.
Vintage and antique items cannot be refunded or returned unless it has been damaged in the shipping process. We require photos of the item(s) and packaging, (which will help us to assess the handling process and prevent further losses.) After which point you will be issued a full refund on your order.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Within 10 days of delivery - Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items

That item is now yours, we can only refund you in store credit for Shoplilliangrey.com if the item was damaged in the shipping process. (Some items have endured some alterations to their original state and will be sold AS IS. Please take note of each item's description to see if the unique character is suitable to you.)
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. You have 7 days from the delivery date to initiate your return on NEW items only.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded in store credit once approved.
