A beautiful antique Copeland Spode bowl in documented Pattern No. 3702, an early Spode design rooted in the Regency taste for Chinese and Japanese-inspired decoration.
Pattern 3702 is recorded on Spode New Stone / Stone China wares and is characterized by stylized peonies, chrysanthemums, prunus and pierced rockwork, all rendered in rich underglaze blue and finished with delicate gilt enrichment. The result is a wonderfully layered Chinoiserie design with the depth and movement collectors look for in early English decorative ceramics.
This example features a wide floral border surrounding the central garden motif, with cobalt and softer blue tones accented throughout in gold. The underside bears a Spode / Copeland factory mark along with the hand-painted 3702 pattern number, confirming the design.
The pattern itself dates back to the early 19th century, with documented examples appearing circa 1815–1820s. Because this piece carries a later Copeland/Spode-era backstamp, it is best understood as a later production of one of Spode’s historic early patterns rather than an original Regency-period example.

We have a 7-day return policy on NEW items, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. You will be refunded in store credit to be spent at Shoplilliangrey.com within 6 months.
Vintage and antique items cannot be refunded or returned unless it has been damaged in the shipping process. We require photos of the item(s) and packaging, (which will help us to assess the handling process and prevent further losses.) After which point you will be issued a full refund on your order.
To start a return, you can contact us at contact@shoplilliangrey.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the return address on the original shipping label.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Within 10 days of delivery - Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items

That item is now yours, we can only refund you in store credit for Shoplilliangrey.com if the item was damaged in the shipping process. (Some items have endured some alterations to their original state and will be sold AS IS. Please take note of each item's description to see if the unique character is suitable to you.)
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. You have 7 days from the delivery date to initiate your return on NEW items only.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded in store credit once approved.
