Fine 19th Century French Sterling Silver Swirled Glass Claret Jug

Fine antique French silver swirled glass claret jug or decanter.  The applied silver collar, lid and handle all hallmarked. The clearest mark on the neck shows the mark as the 1st standard Minerva head, 950/1000 silver purity.  Remains of gilt finish on spout, handle and under lid.  Very good condition with minor wear.    Glass or crystal portion is unmarked, but similar to that made by Baccarat.
