A wonderful set of six vintage English egg cups by Palissy, from the classic Game Series (Birds). One of Palissy’s most recognizable tableware patterns, the Game Series features rich brown transfer decoration against a warm creamy ground. Larger pieces within the series are known for their traditional game-bird scenes, including pheasants, ducks and grouse, surrounded by elaborate floral and lace-like borders. These coordinating egg cups feature that same distinctive brown floral and lace-patterned decoration in a traditional pedestal form. The warm brown and cream palette makes these especially beautiful for fall and Thanksgiving entertaining. They pair wonderfully with Game Series plates and serving pieces, other brown transferware, or classic blue and white for a layered and collected table. Palissy Pottery was based in Longton, Staffordshire, England, and became part of Royal Worcester in 1958. The popular Game Series continued in production for many years afterward and remains a sought-after example of traditional English transferware. Each egg cup is marked PALISSY ENGLAND on the underside. Excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. As with all vintage pieces, minor signs of age or use may be present. We have a 7-day return policy on NEW items, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. You will be refunded in store credit to be spent at Shoplilliangrey.com within 6 months.
Vintage and antique items cannot be refunded or returned unless it has been damaged in the shipping process. We require photos of the item(s) and packaging, (which will help us to assess the handling process and prevent further losses.) After which point you will be issued a full refund on your order.
To start a return, you can contact us at contact@shoplilliangrey.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the return address on the original shipping label.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Within 10 days of delivery - Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items

We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Each item has its own unique story, if you are not happy with the item then we hope we can continue your story with our company and find something that suits you better. That item is now yours, we can only refund you in store credit for Shoplilliangrey.com if the item was damaged in the shipping process. (Some items have endured some alterations to their original state and will be sold AS IS. Please take note of each item's description to see if the unique character is suitable to you.)
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. You have 7 days from the delivery date to initiate your return on NEW items only.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded in store credit once approved.
